A little while ago, I posted about a few grow taller scams that cloud the waters of true height science and make the entire field of legitimate height science appear to be filled with nonsense and scams.
The companies and individuals that perpetuate these grow taller scams prey on the emotions of people until they pull out their credit cards to fork over their hard-earned money for so-called “height-increasing treatments” that end up doing nothing at all.
There are so many of these scams that I had to go back and bring to light a few more to warn Grow Taller Blog readers about so you don’t get mislead by the half-truths, hype, and outright lies of their slick marketing schemes. [click to continue…]
Some people really like to know celebrity heights and are really interested in Hollywood buzz so I thought I’d share something interesting that I ran across by accident the other day.
Below are a few famous and wealthy celebrity couples with women that are taller than the men.
The source of the photos, the Huffington Post, was quick to take its not-too-subtle jabs at the couples by saying, “Good news for shorter guys who are also rich and/or famous: more than ever you can land an Amazonian beauty.”
I’m not one to get offended easily, but if I were, this blatant heightism may do the trick.
Here’s why… [click to continue…]

The Grow Taller Book is being recommended to aspiring models by modeling schools across the US. I’ve had the opportunity to talk not only to several previous students of these modeling schools but to a few instructors through email and by phone over the last couple of weeks.
When I got the chance to talk to several of the modeling school instructors, what they said surprised me… [click to continue…]
There’s so many unscrupulous companies and individuals online and offline that make unfounded claims of being able to help people grow taller just by popping a pill, using hypnosis, or by dropping some “reflexology” insert into their shoes.
None of it works. None of it.
But these companies persist and are making a killing by preying on the insecurities of good people that only want a viable way to grow taller. [click to continue…]

We live in a society that often seems obsessed with celebrities and places a premium on human height at the same time so it should come as no surprise that many people get curious about celebrity heights.
Many people are often shocked to learn that their favorite actress or actor doesn’t stand nearly as tall as he or she appears to on screen if they get the chance to meet them in person. Height is one thing that is certainly no immune to the Hollywood magic, so to speak, that used to create a reality that is alternate from our own. And who can blame them? After all, the movies are created to depict a fictional story, not to give the fans more insight into the celebrities on the screen.
In response to the curiosity of fans across the world, a website was developed that allows users to submit approximations of the heights of celebrities that they encounter. [click to continue…]
Of course not. And there is no shortage of evidence to prove it. However, this accomplished evolutionary psychologist seems to think otherwise.
From the looks of his articles, it appears that this is just one synaptic misfire in a series of on-going and equally preposterous theories. His previous assertion was that men are smarter than women. Of course, when that claim couldn’t be upheld, he decided to renounce it (probably due to the incredible amounts of hate mail he likely received) and reconstructed his theory that taller people are smarter than shorter people. He backpeddled his original theory of men being smarter than women by saying “men on average are slightly but significantly more intelligent than women, not because they are men, but because they are taller.” [click to continue…]
I recently came across a Gallup survey that suggests that, on average, taller people certainly appear to be happier.
On a scale of 0 to 10, people were asked to rate their general happiness with life. 0 being worst and 10 being best. Both men and women were tested.
