Some people really like to know celebrity heights and are really interested in Hollywood buzz so I thought I’d share something interesting that I ran across by accident the other day.
Below are a few famous and wealthy celebrity couples with women that are taller than the men.
The source of the photos, the Huffington Post, was quick to take its not-too-subtle jabs at the couples by saying, “Good news for shorter guys who are also rich and/or famous: more than ever you can land an Amazonian beauty.”
I’m not one to get offended easily, but if I were, this blatant heightism may do the trick.
Here’s why…
Why does a guy have to be “rich and/or famous” to date and marry a woman that is taller? They don’t. And for such a self-proclaimed “forward-thinking” publication such as the Huffington Post to insinuate that is pretty lame, in my opinion.
I’ve personally dated women as tall as 6’2″ and as short as 4’11″ and had a blast being out with all of them. It just goes to show that even in this day and age of over politically-correctness, a person’s height (or lack thereof) is still wide open for public ridicule and discrimination.
But don’t let it get you angry. As they say, “Haters are gonna hate” so let them. The best revenge is success. So enjoy the pictures of guys that are shorter than their girlfriends and wives and enjoy your own, personal successes and lives while laughing off the pathetic jabs by wanna-be journalists that have nothing better to do than try to blast people for anything they can think of.

I usually read HuffPo from time to time usually when I catch an article from digg but you’re right, that was pretty low of them to take their shots. It amazes me that some people can’t get it through their head that two people may be attracted to each other no matter what either of their heights may be.
BTW, i’m 5’9″ and my gf is 5’10″. We couldn’t be happier.
That’s really awesome, Alex. Thanks for sharing yet another example. Height really shouldn’t matter when you’re confident and secure – that goes a long way in attracting people to you.
