Height Prediction – Don’t Trust Scammy Human Height Calculators!

by Hayden Carter

Human Height Calculators LieDuring your online height research, you’ve likely seen it on quite a few website: a “human height calculator” that is “based on scientific research” that is supposed to “accurately predict your target height.”

Don’t buy into this baloney. Not for a minute.

Here’s why…

First of all, these so-called “human height calculators” are determined on taking variables such as a person’s father’s height, mother’s height, and their grandparent’s height, adding them all together, and dividing by 6. (All this does is give you the average of all of these relatives’ height.) Then, if you are a male you are supposed to add a couple of inches (usually 3) and if you are a female, you are supposed to add an inch or two less.

This is complete and utter nonsense.

This insanely elementary calculation doesn’t take into consideration the mind-bogglingly high amount of environmental variables every single human being goes through in their lifetime that can affect their height.

Nutrition during childhood and adolescence is perhaps the largest of these environmental variables but many, many others exist. The medication a child takes can be a very large contributing factor as well.

Second of all, have you ever noticed that the very same websites that proudly exhibit these so-called “human height calculators” also try to sell you an outdated, sloppily-written downloadable e-book through a link right next to the calculator? Usually, its an ebook that calls you an “idiot” in the process…how lame.

And if it’s not an ebook they’re trying to sell you, then it’s some hokey powdered “height increasing supplement” like a can of powder shipped from who-knows-where and containing who-knows-what.

My point is that just because something is posted on the internet, doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s true. In fact, if it sounds too good to be true, then it’s no large stretch of the imagination to believe that it’s almost certainly not true.

There are far too many scammers out there that are preying on good people that only want a viable solution to grow taller naturally and there is not nearly enough regulation to stop them all.

My best advice: scrutinize EVERYTHING. And yes, that includes everything that I say on Grow Taller Blog and in the Grow Taller Book.

Stay safe out there. And here’s to a healthy and taller life!
