How to Grow Taller By Cycling While Hanging

Cycling while hanging is a great variation on conventional hanging that will allow your spine to benefit from varying gravity’s pulling effects on the spine.

Cycling is literally hanging as you normally would while vigorously cycling your legs as if you were riding an imaginary bicycle.

It’s critical that you keep your back as straight as possible during the entire movement and only move your legs and hips. It is also important to keep your head facing directly forward as well.

How to Grow Taller With Kicking While Hanging

Kicking is just like cycling only you are using your legs to kick straight out, one leg at a time. For instance, start with both legs hanging straight down. Now kick out forward with your left leg while your right leg remains as straight down as possible. Do everything in your control (without hurting yourself, of course) to keep your knees from bending throughout the kick. This kicking motion helps stretch your spine in variable motions for a more complete stretching effect.

How to Grow Taller By Performing Knee-ups While Hanging

Not just a great exercise for building abs (which it DEFINITELY is!), knee-ups can help you optimize your stretching for height as well.

The exercise is simple. Start from the normal hanging position and bring your legs up as far as you can while bending your knees. The top of the motion is accomplished when the top of your legs are touching your stomach. Repeat as necessary in a smooth, controlled motion.

How to Grow Taller Using Weights While Hanging

As if hanging on its own wasn’t difficult enough before you get your grip into shape, you can add ankle weights to up the ante as well. Ankle weights can be found in most sports equipment stores and online for fairly reasonable prices. Don’t go out and buy a pair until you really feel that you are getting all you can out of hanging with just your body weight, though. And watch how much weight you add at a time. Trust me, 5 lbs. turns into a lot of weight very fast when you’re adding it to the other advanced hanging techniques shown here!
